Lunch @ The Square Restaurant 1st Feb 2009

Today Mrs Cheong had an appointment with her 'Bros' for dinner. With me stranded, i called up my "Boyfriend" and see if he wanted to do anything? At first it was suppose to be in late afternoon cos he got to go Bai Nian but he sms at abt 11am and asked if im interested in going for a Buffet @ 50% discount! Wow! Without any delays, we were on the way there in a jiffy. The buffet usually cost $50+++ per pax and $79+++ per pax with free flow champagne. Thus, we only need to pay $25+++ per pax after the 50% discount!

I started with a sashimi platter

then with raw oysters, seafood lasagne, shishamo, baked whole salmon, chilled prawns and scallops

then Roast Beef, Ox Tail Stew, Roast Duck, Black Pepper Crab

then Lamb Chop, Sausage

then the day's highlight! Foie Gras! Its my 1st time tasting this and it was so nice. Melts in your mouth with you asking for more!

then Thin crust pizza, mutton satay, various sauces

then Fish Maw Soup

then Smoked Salmon, Tuna, Raw Oyster, Salami, Som Tham before i end and start for Deserts!
