Hong Kong 2010 - Highlights of Day 3

Today is a Resting day for us, after the exertions of Ocean Park yesterday and yes, the trip to Disneyland tomorrow. Today’s agenda is to make a trip to Wong Tai Sin Temple, have a hearty DIM SUM lunch and to do some shopping and have an early day in preserving energy for tomorrow.

We started the day with a hearty Traditional Hong Kong Local Breakfast. (Which will be covered under What we ate in Day 3). After that, Jaylen suddenly said he wanted to Poo!

We went back to our room for Jaylen to poo. It was a relief cos he didn’t poo yesterday (Ocean Park) and won’t poo tomorrow (Disneyland)!

We reached Wong Tai Sin Temple but cos there was a ceremony, we didn’t manage to get in.

After Festival Walk (又一城), we went for a good Dim sum Lunch at our hotel, 旺角維景酒店. (Which will be covered under What we ate in Day 3).

After that, we went to shop at Argyle Centre (旺角中心), as Mrs Cheong wanted to do some shopping. But Alas, it was so crowded. Maybe it was a Sunday that's why the crowds were in full force. It was almost impossible to shop, especially with Jaylen around. we end up giving up and left, buying a pair of leggings for my MIL. We proceeded to Ladies Market and decided to proceed back to hotel due to the huge crowd and our next day’s programme.

So this was the end of our Day 2 in Hong Kong. Ocean Park on a Saturday can be really crowded and packed to the brim. Well, this was a rehearsal for the bigger theme park, later on in the trip.

Hong Kong 2010 – Highlights of Day 1

It’s been 2 years and 9 months since Cheong Family went on a Holiday. The last trip, in Feb 2008 was to Perth. This time round, Mrs Cheong and i decided to go to Hong Kong for 1 reason. To bring Jaylen to Disneyland! And the other programmes will also be all for Jaylen.

This was my 5th Trip to Hong Kong, Mrs Cheong’s 2nd (1st time flying Singapore Airlines) and of course Jaylen’s 1st time for both Hong Kong and Singapore Airlines.

It’s been 10 years since i brought Mrs Cheong and her sis to Hong Kong and it took me quite awhile to do some research before heading there.

So, on 19th November 2010, started a 7 days Cheong Family Bonding holiday @ Hong Kong!
